Amber created these idents using Serif Draw Plus, and then converted them into GIFs. It is useful to create animated versions of the idents so that they can be imported straight to the trailer during the editing stage.
We also removed 'A' from 'A lonely girl pictures' as it makes more sense, and sounds snappier.Wednesday, 28 September 2016

Trailer- Updated Idents(Production Logo and Pictures logo)
We updated our Idents, as we collectively agreed that they did not look professional enough, which would make the trailer look cheap if they were included.
Due to this, we made them a lot simpler and easier to read. This will also make the idents easier to recognize if an audience member passed it in the street or saw it on the side of the bus.
To create these idents, we used Serif Draw Plus; shape-art and text tools only.
I like these idents as they also take into consideration the genre of the movie, and fit in with the colour schemes that we would aim to use.

Trailer- Using Celtx
During our research process, Amber came across a site that may benefit us during the course. Celtx is a platform that allows you to 'Combine full-feature script writing with pre-production support and also enables online collaboration.'
This means that as a group Amber and I can work across the internet to write and create pieces of script, without having to be together to add ideas. This will benefit us as it will less time consuming, and allow us to focus on other jobs at the same time.
