Trailer- Filming (Day 2)

The second day of filming included the antagonists and protagonists 'disruption' scene. This is where Sarah (Christina Graham) and Luke(Kyle Riccard) are together, and it ends up in a fast paced fight scene, which will fit in nicely with our fast paced non-diegetic asynchronous background music.

The overall session of filming went successfully, we chose to use a lot of quick cuts and close up shots to build a lot of tension, and make sure that the pace of the scene was quick paced and exciting. We also used a lot of canted angles to reflect the mental and physical state of a character after being drugged.
The only problem was that Luke could not find the top he was originally wearing in the first scene, which may cause problems of continuity.

Trailer- Updated Storyboard

These are some photos of our updated, and final storyboard. We updated our storyboard, due to some changes to the story line. This storyboard will be useful, as it will allow us to know what shots go where, and what we have left to film. It also gives us an idea of what sound and lighting is required for each shot for it to be successful.

Trailer- Filming (Day 1)

Due to the fact that Sarah was unavailable, we decided to go ahead and film parts that we did not require the antagonist present.

The schedule that we planned therefore, was to get the first few scenes out of the way. This includes a shot of the two boys pulling up in the car, the journey in the car, and walking into the woods.

The overall evening went very smoothly, as our script allowed us to know exactly what we needed, and the equipment all worked as planned. The main shots that we used were long shots and wide shots so that we could establish the backgrounds in each shot, and show all of the characters in one shot at once.
However, the final shot was done as it was becoming dusk, therefore it is a bit darker than the rest of the shots. This meant that during the editing process, we had to enhance the brightness.

Trailer- Shotlist

Below are images of our shot list. By creating this list, it has allowed us to efficiently plan and see what kind of shots that we will want to use for particular scenes.

The shot list is separated into three separate sections. One section is all of the films which we will be filming in school, another just outside my house, and all of the rest of the scenes we will be filming in the woods.

The shot list is in the order that we will be filming the scenes.
