Trailer- Change to Main Character

After choosing our final story line, we decided that our main character playing the stereotypical 'jock' type, had to be changed. This is due to the fact that we needed someone who could drive. So because of this we have chosen to use Luke Baukham instead of Zac Gresty.

Trailer- Brief Plot Synopsis

Kyle Riccard (Our male protagonist) is a big headed, ego loving jock, who loves to get things his own way and loves to make people worship the grounds that he walks one. He is the wealthiest of his group of friends, which is why he thinks he has the most power over each of them. His girlfriend Natalie Gilbert follows his every move, even though she has been warned about his past and how he can treat females.

The other friends in this group, include Dave Reynolds and his girlfriend Chelsea Andrews, and (our female antagonist) Christina Graham.

Flash back to New Year’s celebrations, young Cristina is suffering an awful crime. The wind is blowing through the window on the far right of the host’s master bedroom, the air thumped with the music of artists she can’t recall. Is there any point in screaming? She couldn’t fight him off while her salty tears caused her new mascara to stream across her reddened face.

The story follows their journey into the woods for a long weekend away from school and work. Everything seems fine, all the friends are sitting around having a laugh, and enjoying the time they have together. But as time goes on, things begin to spiral out of control and some of their deepest, darkest secrets are let loose.

Trailer- Brief Plot Synopsis Help

Before beginning to write our plot synopsis, we decided to conduct some research into what kind of this should be included in synopsis, to make is successful.

Below are the websites that we used for this research:
http://www.greenlightmymovie.com/write-film-synopsis-get-results/
http://www.writersdigest.com/editors-picks/learn-how-to-write-a-synopsis-like-a-prohttp://
www.imdb.com/swiki/special?SynopsisHelp

This research benefited us, as it showed what should be included and what should not be included. Examples of these do's and don'ts are:

Do Make sure that the synopsis includes exclusive details of the story of the film (with no commentary)

Do Try and get the first line to be one or two sentences long and contain irony if at all possible.

Do establish what your hero is trying to achieve during the course of the story. Get the reader quickly invested in whether or not the protagonist will succeed.

Do write in third person, present tense.

Don’t mention all of the characters, just the main ones included the protagonist and antagonist.

Don’t mention too much about the plot. Talk about subjects that won’t give things away. You want to write something that will get the reader to watch the movie, without giving away the entire story.

Trailer- 'Pictures' Ident

This is a draft of our pictures ident, We chose 'A Lonely Girls Pictures for the reason that myself and Amber spend a lot of time at home on our own watching movies, especially horrors. It also still upholds the genre of the movie that our production company is creating.

Trailer- Props Required

The above is a picture of the things that we will most probably require over the course of the filming. This will include Special Effects Make Up to create professional looking wounds; A car to move from place to place, and include in some shots; a tent and other camping equipment to make the trailer look more real, like a group off friends are actually going camping.

Planning what props we need before hand, will allow us to get straight into the filming, with everything me need. This will benefit us, as it will allow the process to run quicker and smoother.

Trailer- Camera Equiptment

After completing our AS project, we found out what works well and what doesn't. Due to this, we have been able to choose what you equipment will be best to work with.

Camera: Canon Legria HF 606
We will be sticking with the same camera that we used for AS, as it seemed to do everything we needed; it works well in low key lights, can zoom easily, and picks up sound, even from a distance. It is very small and easy to move, allowing for a variety of shots. There are also functions of the camera, so we can change what the shot looks like e.g. Brightness.

Tripod: Again, we have chosen to stick to the same Tripod as we used previously. This Tripod can adjust to various different heights, and allows us to tilt the camera, to have many different angles. It also ensures that each shot is steady, and does not move around.
Back Up Camera: As we found out in our AS project, the camera's do not always last long, or do not work well for a particular shot. Because of this, we have chosen to have two back up cameras. One will be the camera of an Iphone, as it can adjust brightness, contrast e.c.t. and a Canon Powershot sx530, as it is similar to the other camera that we are using, and has relatively the same functions.
