During
the process of choosing which genre would be best to work with, I believe my
own preference helped the decision. This is due to the fact that the age group
that we chose for our target audience is within my group, so I have an idea of
what sort of things they like.
Being a female, stereotypically I should be interested in Romance movies, but I favour horror, as I believe it is much more intense and exciting. Romance movies are too cliché and easy to predict, so they are usually boring to watch in my opinion. My favourite horrors include Evil Dead, Sinister, Insidious 1&2, The Conjuring and Annabelle.
