Trailer- What have I learnt from my Trailer Mapping

After mapping out my trailer sequences, it has shown me that there are many different ways that trailers can be put together, and a variety of ways in which the order of trailers can be set in. For example, some trailers had the titles and logo's of companies during the sequence, whereas some left it until the very end of the sequence.

When it comes to designing and creating my own trailer, having already done this mapping, it will benefit me as I will able to chose what looks best, and what order the trailer should go in, by comparing trailers that I have already mapped out.

Over the course of the project, the amount of title screens that we use might change, depending on how many people are actually used in the end piece, and how long our trailer is, as too much text can take the focus away from the trailer itself. After studying a few trailers, these are the most common titles that appeared:

-Director/ Producer  (Only if they are well known, to attract a certain audience.)
- ‘Based on a novel by…’
-Production Company
